Alta Vista Botanical Gardens invites kids and their families to Saturday Classes featuring hands-on activities, Incredible Edibles, conservation lessons, and tours of the Gardens.

Join Farmer Jones to walk the Gardens with Farmer Jones to discover intriguing plants and garden features.

After class you can explore the Gardens and Children’s Garden.

Session is at 10 am with limited openings.

100% of fees go to Alta Vista Botanical Gardens – Children’s Garden.

Our next Kids in the Garden class will be 

Saturday January 14 from 10 am to noon.  

Ring in the New Year as we learn about the Wonderful World of Worms – our amazing compost helpers!             

We’ll enjoy a Garden walkabout and find plants, animals, and water features.

Adults will stay with their kids. 

Class fee is $5 per person which includes entry and time to enjoy the Gardens till closing at 4:30 pm!

Class is FREE if family has a family membership.  Grandparents who have family memberships may bring their grandkids.

If you would like to attend this class, you will need to PRE-REGISTER with Farmer Jones by noon on January 12. 

** Provide your child’s name and age for our check-in roster and indicate if you are family members.**

The Gardens are located at 1270 Vale Terrace Drive in Vista, at the top of the hill inside Brengle Terrace Park.
