Students across Vista are gaining valuable career experience this summer through the Vista Chamber of Commerce’s Velocity Internship Program, a paid high school internship program that connects local students with businesses, nonprofits, and public agencies throughout the community.
Designed to prepare students for future careers, the Velocity Internship Program gives high school students the opportunity to earn paid work experience while developing professional skills, exploring career interests, and building connections with local employers. These internships help students gain confidence in the workplace while providing Vista businesses with the opportunity to mentor the next generation of professionals.
This summer, interns are already making an impact across a variety of industries.
